Arch Enemy 2017 - T9A Tournament

What is Fantasy Battles: The 9th Age? It is an independent table top miniature wargame set in a fantasy world, in which players take control of armies and set them upon one another in conflicts ranging from minor skirmishes to mighty battles with hundreds of models.

The game and all of its rules are completely free to download and use, and consist of a main rulebook and over fifteen army documents, ranging from stoic men and noble elves to the feral orcs and dread worshipers of the dark gods. You can easily assemble your own army using appropriate 28mm miniatures from any manufacturer. With 250,000+ downloads so far the game is hugely popular around the world. You can download it from the page Here. (easiest to click on the complete zip package)

'Arch Enemy Tournament' was started in 2010 to develop and build the interest around the community for tabletop wargaming. It's intent is to give beginners and veterans alike a chance to meet and play a solid 5-6 games over the weekend. The Hobby takes time from getting your armies fully ready painted, to building a competitive force. With more lenient painting requirements, 'Arch Enemy' gives you the opportunity to bring your army out even if it's still a work in progress. It was great to see that we had a good number of new players and veterans who fielded new armies at the event over the weekend.

The tournament was a joy to spectate as we hosted a great bunch of friendly players. All playing with a fantastic spirit for the game. The mix of armies in attendance was encouraging to see. The majority of close finishes amongst the mid field saw a very well fought finish for the podium places ending with our eventual Champion clearly deserving the spoils.
