Arch Enemy 40K Doubles - Results

Arch Enemy for 2016 was a little different and featured a doubles Warhammer 40K event to kick things off. We had great interest around Auckland and the event featured a solid 40 players in 20 teams. Pretty awesome encouragement and indication of the big player base playing 7th edition. We're just checking that you guys are still interested in tournaments and the answer was a resounding yes.

Watch out for the Club League and Equinox and GuardCon coming soon with W40K. There is also the Arch Enemy Board Gaming & Fantasy Battle Tabletop event this weekend.

The tournament was doubles format with each player bringing 1000pts for a team combine of 2000pts. Maelstrom missions was used for a different feel and dynamic. I felt Maelstrom missions really made a great fun tournament and did its job of captivating you in the games. I haven't played at all much W40k over the years but after this tournament, it has definitely made me catch the bug. Moar Plasticrack!!
