CanOpener 'Gaming for Charity' 2015

A.C.G's Annual charity event to raise 'Cans of food' for the Auckland City Mission. With a 10+ year tradition, this year we had the 'Rose Park Hotel' helping in the hosting of our event. Over the two days we saw Board gaming, Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Warhammer 40K, X-Wing, Armada, Bolt Action, Malifaux and more. It was great to see the local community bringing a massive bunch of donations and showing their vast generosity.It was a massive success and we'll do it all again soon. Here's some pics from the weekend.

An early start and a steady number of Gamers came to enjoy a fun day of gaming.

The massive result of just under 800 cans of food was raised over the weekend.

It always makes me feel good when you give the Mission the result and they are a bit in awe of the numbers.

Rose Park Hotel supplied a brilliant venue for our event. It was relaxed, quiet, with plenty of onsite parking for easy access. The service and experience was great and we thoroughly recommend the Hotel for your next event. Their licensed restaurant provide a superb place to sit, relax and eat with a great value selection on its menu too.
